Joseph Lipe

Joseph was born on December 9th, 1826 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Joseph's father was William Lipe and his mother was Frances.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Lipe and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Daniel F., William Eldridge, Rufus, Francis D., George, Robert D., Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann and Laura.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.
