Francis D. Lipe

Francis D. was born on January 27th, 1837 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Francis D.'s father was William Lipe and his mother was Frances.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Lipe and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Daniel F., William Eldridge, Rufus, George, Robert D., Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann and Laura.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
