Laura Lipe 
Laura was born on May 9th, 1841 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Laura's father was William Lipe and her mother was Frances. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Lipe and Elizabeth. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Daniel F., William Eldridge, Rufus, Francis D., George, Robert D., Elizabeth Jane and Mary Ann. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
