William Jackson

William was born about 1865 in Missouri.¹ William's father was Smith Jackson and his mother was Eada Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Jackson and UNKNOWN Baker; his maternal grandparents were John Simmons and Rachel UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Phillip, Austin Clark, John, Susan, Martha Ellen, Rachel, Sarah Catherine, Melissa and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George Chester, Walter J., Rush, Albert, Fanny, Bertha, Jessie and Lizzie. He died in 1942 in Sullivan, Franklin, Missouri. He was buried in 1942 in p I.O.O.F. Cem., Sullivan, Franklin, Missouri.¹¹
