Rachel Jackson

Rachel was born about 1859 in Missouri.¹ Rachel's father was Smith Jackson and her mother was Eada Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Jackson and UNKNOWN Baker; her maternal grandparents were John Simmons and Rachel UNKNOWN. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Phillip, William, Austin Clark, John, Susan, Martha Ellen, Sarah Catherine, Melissa and Mary. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George Chester, Walter J., Rush, Albert, Fanny, Bertha, Jessie and Lizzie.
