Rush Jackson

Rush was born on December 23rd, 1880 in Washington Co., Missouri.¹ Rush's father was Smith Jackson and his mother was Sarah Jane Mercer. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Jackson and UNKNOWN Baker; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Mercer and Susan O. Hill. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George Chester, Walter J., Albert, Fanny, Bertha, Jessie and Lizzie. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Phillip, William, Austin Clark, John, Susan, Martha Ellen, Rachel, Sarah Catherine, Melissa and Mary. He died at the age of 41 on January 1st, 1922 in p Washington Co., Missouri. He was buried in January 1922 in I.O.O.F. Cem., Sullivan, Franklin, Missouri.¹¹
