John Jackson

John was born about 1869 in ,,Missouri.¹ John's father was Smith Jackson and his mother was Eada Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Jackson and UNKNOWN Baker; his maternal grandparents were John Simmons and Rachel UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Phillip, William, Austin Clark, Susan, Martha Ellen, Rachel, Sarah Catherine, Melissa and Mary. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George Chester, Walter J., Rush, Albert, Fanny, Bertha, Jessie and Lizzie.
