Jane Hawkins

Jane was born about 1756 in Baltimore County, Maryland.¹   Jane's father was Samuel Hawkins and her mother was Anneka Jane Edwards.  Her paternal grandfather was Joseph Hawkins; her maternal grandfather was Richard Edwards. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Samuel, Sarah, Rebecca Sullivan, Susan, Mary and Caroline.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
