Caroline Hawkins

Caroline was born about 1768 in Washington County, Tennessee.¹   Caroline's father was Samuel Hawkins and her mother was Anneka Jane Edwards.  Her paternal grandfather was Joseph Hawkins; her maternal grandfather was Richard Edwards. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Samuel, Sarah, Jane, Rebecca Sullivan, Susan and Mary.  She was the youngest of the nine children.
