Samuel Goff 
Samuel was born on October 1st, 1814 in Rockingham Co., NC.1 Samuel's father was William Goff and his mother was Mary Oliver. His paternal grandparents were William Goff and Nancy; his maternal grandparents were James Oliver and Susannah Lemons. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Josephus, James Oliver, John William, Robert Oliver, George Oliver, Daniel, Susannah, Nancy, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on November 26th, 1888.1 -
