James Oliver Goff 
James Oliver was born on September 19th, 1808 in Rockingham Co., NC.1 James Oliver's father was William Goff and his mother was Mary Oliver. His paternal grandparents were William Goff and Nancy; his maternal grandparents were James Oliver and Susannah Lemons. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Josephus, John William, Samuel, Robert Oliver, George Oliver, Daniel, Susannah, Nancy, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on August 31st, 1878 in Jasper Co., MO.1 -
