George Oliver Goff 
George Oliver was born on March 17th, 1825 in Rockingham Co., NC.1 George Oliver's father was William Goff and his mother was Mary Oliver. His paternal grandparents were William Goff and Nancy; his maternal grandparents were James Oliver and Susannah Lemons. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Josephus, James Oliver, John William, Samuel, Robert Oliver, Daniel, Susannah, Nancy, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on July 10th, 1907.1 -
