William G. Gardner

William G. was born on August 14th, 1847 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   William G.'s father was James Gardner and his mother was Anna Myers.  His paternal grandparents were John Gardner and Sophia; his maternal grandfather was Henry Myers. He had six brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Alfred, James, Henry, Jarvis Wiley, Jacob Tillman, Newton Gilbert, Sarah Jane, Nancy E., Rebecca, Hattie Miranda and Gardner.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 69 on July 28th, 1917 in ,,Missouri.¹
