Sarah Jane Gardner

Sarah Jane was born on January 17th, 1837 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Sarah Jane's father was James Gardner and her mother was Anna Myers.  Her paternal grandparents were John Gardner and Sophia; her maternal grandfather was Henry Myers. She had seven brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Alfred, James, Henry, Jarvis Wiley, William G., Jacob Tillman, Newton Gilbert, Nancy E., Rebecca, Hattie Miranda and Gardner.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 25 on September 21st, 1862 in ,Greene, Tennessee.¹
