Rebecca Gardner

Rebecca was born in August 1849 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Rebecca's father was James Gardner and her mother was Anna Myers.  Her paternal grandparents were John Gardner and Sophia; her maternal grandfather was Henry Myers. She had seven brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Alfred, James, Henry, Jarvis Wiley, William G., Jacob Tillman, Newton Gilbert, Sarah Jane, Nancy E., Hattie Miranda and Gardner.  She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.  She died before 1860.¹
