William Samuel Dickson

William Samuel was born on November 20th, 1826 in Sullivan County, TN.¹   William Samuel's father was William Howard Dickson and his mother was Mary Shipley.  His paternal grandparents were John Shipley and Rachel Howard. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Pleasant C., Nathan Shipley, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 54 on August 22nd, 1881 in Sullivan County, TN.¹
