Nathan Shipley Dickson

Nathan Shipley was born in 1832 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Nathan Shipley's father was William Howard Dickson and his mother was Mary Shipley.  His paternal grandparents were John Shipley and Rachel Howard. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William Samuel, Pleasant C., Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 32 in 1864.¹
