Mary Dickson

Mary was born in 1823 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Mary's father was William Howard Dickson and her mother was Mary Shipley.  Her paternal grandparents were John Shipley and Rachel Howard. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, William Samuel, Pleasant C., Nathan Shipley, Elizabeth and Margaret.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 42 in 1865.¹
