Wiley Combest 
Wiley was born in 1830 in Kentucky.1 Wiley's father was John Combest and his mother was Jane Spencer. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; his maternal grandparents were \\ Spencer and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Alexander, Archibald, John W. and Sarah Jane. He was the third oldest of the six children.1 General Notes

Wiley Combest married (3) Mary Rexroat in May 1862, Russell County, Kentucky at the home of George Rexroat in the presence of George and John Rexroat. Marriage bond was signed by William Rexroat, Baptist minister. Issue: Daniel born 1865; Rolie born 1867. Wiley and Mary Rexroat Combest had moved from Russell County, Kentucky to Daviess County, Kentucky by 1870. They are recorded in the 1870 census as follows:
