Nancy Elvira was born on August 11th, 1841 in Kentucky.1 Nancy Elvira's father was Alexander Combest and her mother was Mariah Louisa Bowmer. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; her maternal grandparents were John Bowmer and Phoebe Goodman. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Fountain, John B., James Riley, Parker H., Infant Son, Christopher C., Almira, Mary, Pelom, Sarah F., Allis G. and Eliza Jane. She died at the age of 47 on March 10th, 1889 in South of Thomastown Cemetery , Kelly Hudson Farm, near Dunnville, Casey Co.,Ky.1 -
