Fountain Combest 
Fountain was born on April 5th, 1836 in Kentucky.1 Fountain's father was Alexander Combest and his mother was Mariah Louisa Bowmer. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; his maternal grandparents were John Bowmer and Phoebe Goodman. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named John B., James Riley, Parker H., Infant Son, Christopher C., Almira, Nancy Elvira, Mary, Pelom, Sarah F., Allis G. and Eliza Jane. He died at the age of 83 on March 23rd, 1920.1 General Notes
