John B. Combest 
John B. was born on February 16th, 1844 in Kentucky.1 John B.'s father was Alexander Combest and his mother was Mariah Louisa Bowmer. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; his maternal grandparents were John Bowmer and Phoebe Goodman. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Fountain, James Riley, Parker H., Infant Son, Christopher C., Almira, Nancy Elvira, Mary, Pelom, Sarah F., Allis G. and Eliza Jane. He died at the age of 71 on November 13th, 1915.1 General Notes
