Martha Ann Combest 
Martha Ann was born on July 12th, 1856 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 Martha Ann's father was Archibald Combest and her mother was Mary Ann Roy. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; her maternal grandparents were Lemuel Roy and Eleanor Wilson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Andrew James, Lemuel, John, Silas Jackson, Mary Frances and Phraba. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Samuel, William, Cyrenius, Voluntine, Shelby, Infant Son, Sarah Ann, Nancy Emaline and Christina Ann. She died at the age of 2 on August 10th, 1858 in Pulaski County, Kentucky (scarlet fever).1 -
