Andrew James Combest

Andrew James was born on December 17th, 1859.¹ Andrew James' father was Archibald Combest and his mother was Mary Ann Roy. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; his maternal grandparents were Lemuel Roy and Eleanor Wilson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lemuel, John, Silas Jackson, Martha Ann, Mary Frances and Phraba. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Samuel, William, Cyrenius, Voluntine, Shelby, Infant Son, Sarah Ann, Nancy Emaline and Christina Ann. He died at the age of 68 on June 5th, 1928.¹
