Joseph Henry Carter

Joseph Henry was born on January 9th, 1889 in Tennessee.¹ Joseph Henry's father was James Harmon Carter and his mother was Mary Johanna Brown. His maternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Ash. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Robert Lee, John, Frank, Winfrey B., Harry, Floyd Charles, Mary Ellen, Ida, Alberta, Florence Emaline and Melvina. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 76 on June 11th, 1965.¹
