Frank Carter

Frank was born in December 1881 in Tennessee.¹ Frank's father was James Harmon Carter and his mother was Mary Johanna Brown. His maternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Ash. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Robert Lee, John, Joseph Henry, Winfrey B., Harry, Floyd Charles, Mary Ellen, Ida, Alberta, Florence Emaline and Melvina. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at 6 months old in June 1882.¹
