Alberta Carter 
Alberta was born on September 1st, 1880 in Tennessee.1 Alberta's father was James Harmon Carter and her mother was Mary Johanna Brown. Her maternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Ash. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Robert Lee, John, Frank, Joseph Henry, Winfrey B., Harry, Floyd Charles, Mary Ellen, Ida, Florence Emaline and Melvina. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 81 on July 1st, 1962.1 -
