Joseph Caldwell

Joseph was born in 1867 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Joseph's father was Andrew F. Caldwell and his mother was Elizabeth.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Caldwell and Sarah. He had three brothers and a sister, named Smith, Elias, Calvin and Lucinda Jane.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named James, Absalom, William, Jesse, Richard Anderson, Samuel J., Robert, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel, Matilda and Eliza.
