Thomas Cates

Thomas was born in 1702 in Prince George Co VA.  Thomas' father was Robert  Ezra Cates and his mother was Mary  Ann Randall.  His paternal grandparents were William  Abraham Cates and Margaret  Agnes Ingles. He had five brothers named Robert, William, Richard, Benjamin and John.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 68 in 1770 in Orange Co NC.
