Richard Cates

Richard was born in 1700 in Henrico VA.  Richard's father was Robert  Ezra Cates and his mother was Mary  Ann Randall.  His paternal grandparents were William  Abraham Cates and Margaret  Agnes Ingles. He had five brothers named Robert, William, Thomas, Benjamin and John.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 59 in 1759 in Prince George VA.
