James PATTON 
James was born about 1706 in Cumberland Co., PA. James 's father was John PATTON and his mother was Matilda Ann WIDEMAN. His paternal grandparents were Matthew (The Martyr) (Patton) PATOUN and Christian PORTEOUS . He had six brothers named Mathew Leander (Old Matt), Joseph , Benjamin, John , Alexander and Tristram "Trussie". He was the second oldest of the seven children.-
