John Eden BARNETT 
John Eden was born on January 21st, 1849 in Aid, Lawrence Co., OH. John Eden's father was John Sanford BARNETT and his mother was Mary Ann BAILES. His paternal grandparents were Isaac BARNETT and Susannah UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were John BAILES and Mary "Polly" FOSTER. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Lycurges Hannibal, Orlando, Frances Royer, Tymandra , Belvidere, Octavia Jane, Jerushia Ellen, Mary Ann and Susan Rosella. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on February 20th, 1925 in Eddyville, Mahaska Co., Ia .General Notes
