Her paternal grandparents were Stephen ANDRESS and Nancy Ann SINGLETON; her maternal grandparents were William Joseph (Jr) NETTLES and Mary "Lucy" THORNLEY . She had five brothers and eight sisters, named James W. , William Robert, James , Isaac C, George Washington , Elizabeth J. , Susan A. , Mary , Alecy E. "Elcy", Ellen Ann , Martha , Rebecca Ann and Frances Caroline . She was the second oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 76 on January 12th, 1901 in Franklin Co., TN.General Notes
