Ruby Ann was born in 1916 in Awalt, Franklin Co., Tn. Ruby Ann 's father was John Wesley (Big John) ANDERSON and her mother was Tacy Inez HENSON. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson "Jack" ANDERSON and Mary Ann WESTON; her maternal grandparents were Franklin Perry "Frank" HENSON and Lee Ellen JONES. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Fred J, John Wesley, Frankie Jackson, Johnnie Louise and Ora Lee. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 2 on September 2nd, 1918 in Awalt, Franklin Co., Tn.General Notes

Burial: Little Mountain Cemetery, Awalt, Franklin Co., TN
This cemetery is located at a dead end on Keith Springs Mountain Road. This is a very old cemetery, but it appears to be well kept. There are many flat headstones without names or dates and many unmarked graves.
1970:
Tims Ford State Park is an outstanding recreation area. The park was developed along the banks of Tims Ford Lake, which was created after the construction of TVA's Tims Ford Dam on the Elk River in 1970. With the coming of the lake, the community of Awalt was flooded and many people were displaced from the lands of their fathers.
