Thomas Towneley 
Thomas was born about 1577 in Lancashire, England. Thomas' father was Lawrence Towneley and his mother was Mary Hartley. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence, Henry, John, Robert, Charles, Elizabeth and Ellen. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
