Ellen Towneley 
Ellen was born about 1581 in Lancashire, England. Ellen's father was Lawrence Towneley and her mother was Mary Hartley. She had six brothers and a sister, named Lawrence, Henry, John, Robert, Thomas, Charles and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
