Robert Towneley 
Robert was born about 1575 in Lancashire, England. Robert's father was Lawrence Towneley and his mother was Mary Hartley. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence, Henry, John, Thomas, Charles, Elizabeth and Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
