Reason was born in 1786 in Wood Co, (W)VA. Reason's father was Sylvanus Barnes and her mother was Sarah Phelps. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Barnes and Lois Porter; her maternal grandparents were John Phelps and Mary Converse. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, John, Joshua, Nathaniel (Nathan), Hugh Phelps, Sylvanus Jr., Alexander, Gather, Priscilla and Mary.General Notes
Reason and Priscilla were born in the same year but different places. This seems unlikely. Either they were twins, one's birthdate is wrong, or one doesn't belong in this family.
