Calvin R. was born on February 23rd, 1898 in Mecklenburg County, NC.1 Calvin R.'s father was Daniel Penick Thomasson and his mother was Mary Ella Black. His paternal grandparents were John Barnett Thomasson and Mary Ann Sims. He had five sisters named Marjorie M., Nena Faye, Daisy Rea, Ida Aleen and Lacy. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at 3 months old on June 14th, 1898 in infancy. He was buried in Ramah Presbyterian Church, Mecklenburg Co, NC.1 1 General Notes
