Jonathan was born on February 18th, 1793.1 Jonathan's father was Jonathan Rogers and his mother was Elizabeth Daniel. His maternal grandparents were Ephraim Daniel and Brambley Caroline Brown. He had two sisters named Sarah "Sally" and Martha. He was the youngest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joel, Ephraim, Shadrach, Isaac, Catherine, Elizabeth and Polly.General Notes
