Fanny was born about 1848.1 Fanny's father was George M. Oehler and her mother was Elizabeth B. Thomason. Her maternal grandparents were Needham Thomasson and Elizabeth Spain. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, David, Harriett and Catherine. She was the youngest of the five children.General Notes
