Lloyd Maytubby was born on June 5th, 1910 in Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.1 Lloyd Maytubby's father was George Henry Moore and his mother was Lucy Esabel Boyd. His paternal grandparents were Frank Moore and Nancy Jane Runions; his maternal grandparents were Joe Boyd and Susannah ?. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Elmer, Hurk Maness, John Norman, Willie Grant, Hoyle Love, Edye Morard, Annie, Luvella Mae, Maude Eva and Odessa. He died at the age of 77 on February 23rd, 1988 in Roxton, Lamar County, Texas. He was buried on February 25th, 1988 in Restland Cemetary, Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.1 1 General Notes

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd M. Moore of Roxton, TX, will be celebrating their
fiftiet h wedding anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 27 (1981), with a reception
in the Fell owship Hall of the Roxton Methodist Church. All friends and
relatives are inv ited to attend the reception between the hours of 2 and
4, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. James Moore and grandchildren,
Brennan and Allison. The couple requests n o gifts, please. Lloyd M.
Moore and Josephine Lattimore were married on Dec. 29, 1931 at the
Garrett Memorial Methodist Church by J. Russell Brown.' *Lloy d M.
(Button) Moore, 77, of Roxton died at St. Joseph's Hospital Tuesday, Feb .
23. Services were held Thursday, Feb. 25, at the First United Methodist
C hurch in Roxton with the Rev. Martin Corie officiating. Burial was in
Restlan d Cemetery by Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Bearers were Joe Friday,
Ingram Creed , R.T. (Pug) Perry, Glen Fletcher, Thomas Whipple and J.T.
Landers. Mr. Moore was born June 5, 1910, in Roxton, a son of George H.
and Lucy Boyd Moore. He attended Roxton school and had been a postal
clerk for 33 years before retiri ng in 1977. He was a member of the First
United Methodist Church and of its b oard of stewards. He was a member of
the Roxton Masonic Lodge and the board o f the Roxton Ex-Students
Association. He was also a member of the board of th e Restland Cemetery
Association at Roxton and had served as mayor of Roxton t hree terms. He
was the organizer of the Little League Baseball in Roxton. On Dec. 29,
1931, he married Josephine Lattimore. Surviving are his wife; one so n and
daughter-in-law, James and Pat Moore of Rockwall; two grandchildren,
Brennan and Allison Moore of Rockwall; and one sister, Mrs. Roy Umberson
of R oxton.'
