Thomas Jefferson Hartsfield 
Thomas Jefferson was born on July 27th, 1852 in Hempstead County, Arkansas.1 Thomas Jefferson's father was Matthew Hartsfield and his mother was Mary Magdaline Holly. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Hartsfield and Catherine Hannah Spain. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James Alexandrew, John Richard, William Jackson, Henry Saxon, Joseph M., Sarah, Jane, Mary Jennie and Francis Leaner. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 on July 4th, 1941 in Hempstead County, Arkansas.1 General Notes
