Joseph Chambers Buchanan 
Joseph Chambers was born on January 5th, 1805 in Tennessee.1 Joseph Chambers' father was John Buchanan and his mother was Hannah Buchanan. His paternal grandparents were Moses Buchanan and Elizabeth Harper; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Buchanan and Johanna Hays. He had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas Wiley, Marjorie, Martha M, Frances, Joanna, Emily and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on February 28th, 1875 in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Washington, Arkansas.1 General Notes
