Emily Buchanan 
Emily was born on July 23rd, 1814 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.1 Emily's father was John Buchanan and her mother was Hannah Buchanan. Her paternal grandparents were Moses Buchanan and Elizabeth Harper; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Buchanan and Johanna Hays. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Chambers, Thomas Wiley, Marjorie, Martha M, Frances, Joanna and Mary. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 53 on February 9th, 1868 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.1 General Notes
