Frances Buchanan 
Frances was born on November 8th, 1808 in Washington, Virginia.1 Frances' father was John Buchanan and her mother was Hannah Buchanan. Her paternal grandparents were Moses Buchanan and Elizabeth Harper; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Buchanan and Johanna Hays. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Chambers, Thomas Wiley, Marjorie, Martha M, Joanna, Emily and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 55 on September 18th, 1864 in Washington, Arkansas.1 General Notes
