Harriet Scott Read 
Harriet Scott was born in 1840. Harriet Scott's father was Nicholas Cabell Read and her mother was Clarissa Jane Read. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac II Read and Anne Mayo Venable; her maternal grandparents were Reverend Clement Read and Clarissa Jane Edmunds. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Archibald, Clement, George Whitfield II, Anne Mayo, Clarissa Jane, Sarah and Rosa. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
