Clarissa Jane Read 
Clarissa Jane was born about 1838. Clarissa Jane's father was Nicholas Cabell Read and her mother was Clarissa Jane Read. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac II Read and Anne Mayo Venable; her maternal grandparents were Reverend Clement Read and Clarissa Jane Edmunds. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Archibald, Clement, George Whitfield II, Anne Mayo, Harriet Scott, Sarah and Rosa. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
