George Whitfield II Read 
George Whitfield II was born in 1843. George Whitfield II's father was Nicholas Cabell Read and his mother was Clarissa Jane Read. His paternal grandparents were Isaac II Read and Anne Mayo Venable; his maternal grandparents were Reverend Clement Read and Clarissa Jane Edmunds. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Isaac Archibald, Clement, Anne Mayo, Clarissa Jane, Harriet Scott, Sarah and Rosa. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
