Sarah Meriwether 
Sarah was born on November 26th, 1746.1 Sarah's father was Thomas Meriwether and her mother was Elizabeth Thornton. Her maternal grandparents were Francis Thornton and Mary Taliaferro. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Nicholas, Francis, David, Thomas, Mary, Anne, Lucy, Mildred, Jane and Elizabeth.1 General Notes
